Thai-Yoga Bodywork

The key to body-mind health and bliss is within oneself.

I specialize in the soft, gentle, passive - yet powerful - yoga styles, Yin Yoga and Tantra Yoga. However, I occasionally teach the more active Yin-Yang flows to offer both aspects of life. The active and the passive, the dynamic and the relaxing, the strong and the soft, the yin and the yang.

Having a background in Ayurveda nutrition and health, TCM knowledge through the Yin Yoga trainings and with lots of trainings thai-yoga bodywork I complement my practises and teachings and offer - at workshops and retreats - techniques for self-care and wellbeing, targeting women of all ages.

What I offer

  • Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga targets deeper tissues of the body that are not targeted with other styles of yoga. It also offers emotional and mental relief and benefits as it can calm and balance our minds and reduce stress.

  • Tantra Yoga

Tantra is a whole spectrum, a philosophy; a way of approaching life. By practicing tantra yoga we aim at achieving a state of meditation during and between the asanas. The practise is slow in nature.

  • Bodywork

Thai yoga bodywork combines assisted yoga stretches with acupressure techniques. The practicioner uses hands, feet, and body weight to guide you through stretches and apply gentle pressure, promoting relaxation and flexibility.

Body Mind Bliss

In any case, I truly believe that relaxation is the key to a healthy and blissful life. A life full of bliss (= joy, pleasure, happiness, ecstasy), rather than a life that is negatively influenced by the fast, competitive and over-active lifestyle of our times. Thus, a healthy life as defined by the World Health Organization:

โ€‹"Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity."

Body-mind health for women

Yoga practices and ayurvedic recommendations around health and nutrition can be specifically designed for a womanโ€™s body and psyche. Taking the female anatomy, pelvic area, pregnancy, menarche, menstruation, age and menopause into account and support women into different transitions.

Relaxation is key

Challenging times cry out for recalibration, grounding and relaxation. Quieter times can be used to maintain this state of physical and mental relaxation - enjoying life to the fullest, whilst being better equipped for the next inevitable tsunami of emotions and insecurities.

"We help the mind to slow down its rapid senses of thoughts and feelings and replace the mental activities with inner awareness and attention."
